Below is the hand out that is created / adapted for each session. It outlines the activities that we plan and prepare.
This is a picture of a completed Ark Craft. Lots of messy painting, animal stickers and paper plates are needed to make this fun craft. Have a pile of plates, 1 pile full, one pile of half plates. Allow the child to paint the half brown for the boat. The other plate to be filled in with rainbow colours. Once dry, staple the half plate to the full one and add on animal stickers. Make sure each craft has a name on the back.
Animal Pom Pom’s were a fab craft for those who needed their brain stretching. We find a lot of crafts can be a bit basic but parents and siblings love something a bit more challenging.
As always we had a food craft – this time it was decorating cupcakes with rainbow coloured icing and sweets. Something tasty and a craft with an instant reward.
One of our Tuff Spots was filled with Rainbow Drops (available in most shops) and tools. This allowed free play. Crushing, piling, scooping and more.
