Lots of children can find it calming environment and time out space to allow for a break from the activity of other rooms. Some children’s preferred way to play is very tactile and sensory focused. Also some parents like a dark and calming room to snooze in.

A Tuff spot is a large 8 sided tray commonly used in early years contexts. They have raised sides which are good at containing mess.
